Quick Care Video Visits

Quick Care Video Visits are a way to get medical care with a video call. You can start one from the comfort of home – or wherever you happen to be – on a mobile device or a computer. These video visits, which are powered by Zoom, are private and secure.

Before your visit, you'll want to get your mobile device or computer set up with the technology you'll need to see and hear the provider you'll see. When it's time for your Quick Care Video Visit, the provider will evaluate your symptoms and tell you what to do next, so you can get back to being you.

In order to meet with a Quick Care Video Visit provider via video from your computer, you’ll need a LiveWell account.


Step 1: Sign up for a LiveWell account

If you don’t have a LiveWell account, sign up for one now.

  • If you received an account activation text message or email, click the link in that message and follow the prompts to complete your account setup.
  • If you do not have an account activation text message or email, go to the LiveWell sign up page and follow the prompts to create an account.

Step 2: Begin your visit

  1. Sign in to LiveWell.
  2. Go to Menu then request a Quick Care Video Visit.
  3. Follow the steps to request your video visit and complete PreCheck-In.
  4. You can choose to wait in the virtual waiting room and you'll be notified when the provider is ready to start your video visit. However, we recommend starting your visit after PreCheck-In so you don't miss this important notification.
  5. To start your video visit, select Begin Video Visit to open Zoom from within LiveWell and sign in. Wait for the provider to appear and then participate in your visit.
  6. Once you’re done meeting with the provider, select Leave Meeting.

Step 3: After your visit

Get information about your visit.

  1. Sign in to LiveWell.
  2. Select Visits. 
  3. Go to your visit date and select View After Visit Summary.
  4. Read the note from the provider.

In order to meet with a Quick Care Video Visits provider via video from your mobile device, you’ll need a LiveWell account and the LiveWell with Advocate Aurora Health app.


Step 1: Get the LiveWell app

Download the LiveWell app for your mobile device.

 


Step 2: Sign up for a LiveWell account

From the LiveWell app, tap Create an account at the bottom of the screen and follow the prompts to create an account.

Note: If you received an account activation text message or email, click the link and follow the prompts.


Step 3: Begin your visit

  1. Sign in to your LiveWell app.
  2. Select +New from the Appointments section of the home screen, then select Video Visit as the appointment type.
  3. Follow the steps to request your video visit and complete PreCheck-In.
  4. Select Begin Visit and wait for the provider to join.
  5. Once you’re done meeting with the provider, select Leave Meeting.

Step 4: After your visit

Get information about your visit and complete the survey to tell us about your experience.

  1. Sign in to your LiveWell app.
  2. Select the Message for you alert that appears in the Notifications section of the home screen.
  3. Select the message from your video visit.
  4. Read the note from the provider and complete the survey.
