Academic Research and Strategic Partnerships
Transforming research into improved health
We’re committed to improving the health and well-being of people living in our communities and beyond by transforming academic research findings into better health outcomes and care delivery.
Scientific programs and centers
At Advocate Aurora Research Institute, our academic research division aligns with the many clinical areas of excellence and priorities of Advocate Aurora Health to ultimately benefit the 3 million people we're privileged to serve.
Each program and center is comprised of research scientists and clinician investigators who dedicate their scientific expertise to research focused on health equity, population health, child and family health, aging, health services research, and more.
We work on research studies and collaborative projects developed and conducted in partnership with clinical leaders, as well as academic and industry partners. Our researchers conduct innovative, evidence-based research in real-world settings to address health system priorities and challenges, transform patient care, and advance local, regional and national research initiatives.
Our research scientists lead the way
Each of our research scientists has established a robust program of research and successful record of peer-reviewed publications that have brought new scientific evidence to the international health care community.
Scientific Grand Rounds
We offer monthly presentations given by internal and external research experts and available to attend virtually by anyone interested in academic research. Continuing Medical Education credits are available for attending these sessions.
By attending our Scientific Grand Rounds, you’ll learn about research findings and scientific advancements and discover new health care knowledge, skills, and strategies derived from evidence-based research – all with the goal of improved patient care.
