About author Gene Woods
Gene Woods, MBA, MHA, FACHE, is Chief Executive Officer of Advocate Health — one of the largest health systems in the country created from the combination of Advocate Aurora Health and Atrium Health. He has 30 years of healthcare leadership experience, including serving as chair of the American Hospital Association. He’s also been named one of the Top 10 Most Influential People in Healthcare by “Modern Healthcare” and served as the chair of the board of the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond.
