Our Corporate Partners in Philanthropy invest in Advocate Aurora Health because they believe in enhancing the health and wellness of those in our communities. Corporate Partners give to the programs and services that matter most to them, whether it is improving health outcomes, expanding access to care or inspire innovation.

Here are just two examples highlighting our Corporate Partners.

Committed to communities

In spring 2020, Lovejoy, Inc., through its parent company, Timken, awarded COVID-19 support grants to health care systems. Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital received $15,000 – kicking off a great philanthropic relationship. The hospital recently received a $50,000 grant in support of an ambulance simulator, a critical teaching tool that provides students and professionals the ability to practice and perfect tasks and procedures in an environment that represents the reality of an ambulance workspace.

“Funding COVID-19 relief efforts is critical to support frontline responders and our community. And the ability to train, develop and adapt first responders to new situations made the ambulance simulator an excellent way to continue to give back,” says Mathew Happach, VP Sales, Lovejoy Group.

Advocating for behavioral health

Behavioral and mental health care services can help people develop the tools and support they need to live their best life, be more productive, cope better with everyday stress and engage in healthy habits. That is why the Johnsonville Board, chaired by Shelly Stayer, donated $270,000 for the creation of a behavioral health nurse navigator pilot program at Advocate Aurora Health.

The nurse navigator will provide services in all areas of behavioral health, help identify potential barriers to the delivery of care, be proactive in decreasing the stigma around mental health and provide education on available resources. The program will be piloted at Johnsonville locations with hopes to apply what is learned to industrial/manufacturing partners in Sheboygan County in the future.
